“Socialism is an economic philosophy: it means social control of the means of production” No: it’s not and doesn’t.
Socialism means: power from society to the state. Meaning: zero social influence over the MoP.
As Hayek wrote:
When the state controls your economic life, it controls your entire life.
Because: economics is needed to acquire the resources to live (food, drink, shelter, a modicum of pleasure). Socialists won’t stop at control over your economic life (economic slavery), but over every aspect of your life (sexual slavery, since they derive sexual pleasure from abusing you).
